Summer at 45rpm

Simply click on the photos to get a better look at what is currently happening in each store. If you are interested in the great 45rpm pieces on their way for summer, click on the "Badou R Ai 45" symbol on the left and you can view pages taken from our look-book for the current Summer 2009 collection. If you see anything you like while browsing through the pages, or have any questions about items that you see, please "Drop us a line" or give us a call at either location!

The 45rpm UES store will continue the workshop service with a Father's Day event on June 9th through 11th and 16th through 20th. Due to the success of the Mother's Day workshop, we are happy to offer a similar service to honor this equally important holiday. Gifts will be created within 2-3 hours between 1-6pm. Handmade gifts may show your appreciation for your father in a warm way. At the workshop, 45rpm staff will assist and teach you how to make: a tie, cap, book cover, bandana, small bag, as well as tote bag. If you have other ideas in mind, we would love to work on it together. Therefore, even if you've never touched a needle or thread, we can teach you from scratch. We will also provide all the necessities for the project. For example: the fabric, thread, pattern, needles, scissor, and sewing machine. The workshop service is by appointment only. The price of the materials will range from $10 to $120. Come to the store to create a unique present for someone special! We look forward to spending a wonderful time with you.

We would like to thank all of you who participated in our vintage sale event. To those who brought in clothing to sell: thank you for contributing such a great collection of vintage 45rpm pieces! And to those who stopped in to purchase or just have a look: thank you for saying hello and appreciating the natural beauty of previously owned pieces. We hope that you all had a fun time and got to learn a little bit about the history of our clothing. Thanks to your contributions, we are very happy to announce that $4687.50 has been donated to the Catskill Mountain Heritage Alliance. This money will help ensure that our drinking water here in NYC can continue to come from the pure source of the Catskill Mountains.
