Summer Sale!

Our spring & summer sale will begin on Saturday July 7th at the Upper East Side location only!Though usually closed on Sundays the store will be open on Sunday the 8th. We will keep our normal hours of 10am-6pm for the duration of the sale.

We have also begun to receive the fall collection and the fall look-book will be here at the beginning of July! If you see anything you like, or have any questions about items that you see, please feel free to "Drop us a line" or give us a call at either location!




Summer dresses- Keep cool in 45rpm this summer with our incredibly lightweight summer dresses. Our silk-cotton blend dress (pictured in red) has a hand-woven feel that makes both earthy and elegant and our ikat dyed and woven “Kitchen” dresses are perfect for everyday use in the summer heat! Dresses so simple are easily complimented by accessories like one of our khadi-cloth summer stoles or any of our famous bandanas. Come see for yourself!	Men’s Pullover- Guys need to keep cool in the summer heat too! There’s no better start than a pair of classic chino shorts, a simple five-pocket chino with button-down pockets in the back and a zipper fly. Keep it cool and simple with a plain cotton pullover, or if you prefer a more outspoken simplicity, one of our indigo cotton/linen blend pullovers come in a bold check and border-stripe is sure to do the trick.	Eastern Chambray – If you are familiar with 45rpm then you are familiar with our take on the classic western work-wear shirt, affectionately called the “Eastern Shirt” around these parts. This time around, the Eastern Shirt is here in a classic chambray, slightly distressed in both indigo and black indigo. If you love the look of the Eastern Shirt but would like something a bit more refined, our plain white Eastern is made from a very crisp yet extremely soft cotton fabric we call Futura. You have to feel it to believe it!




Bandanas – We usually have a lot of bandanas dotted around the store and special for summer we have light and breathable cotton gauze bandanas! Always a great accessory for both men and women, the summer bandanas come in all different colors and tones, and of course some dyed in indigo. Shown here with one of our Supergauze t-shirts, women’s thin denim pants and indigo dyed espadrilles, all available at our SoHo store.	Supergauze – The ideal hot summer t-shirt! Our loose knit cotton Supergauze t-shirts are renowned for keeping you cool in the summer. Pictured here with our new cotton gauze Lilly Aloha bandanas, no 45rpm collection is complete without a Supergauze t-shirt!	Indigo – Indigo is great all year round and we have plenty of indigo dyed items ready for summer wear! Cotton/linen checked skirts, jersey knit polos and Supergauze tank-tops for ladies and our classic Eastern shirts for men. Of course, you’ll need an accessory like a wide brimmed hat to keep the sun out of your eyes or a bandana to keep any sweat off your brow.
